Pillowcases for Thomas - one of a kind screenprinted pillowcases

This is the second commission I've done for Thomas. The first one was a handpainted skateboard and when he came into the gallery to pick it up he asked me if I would be willing to paint some pillowcases for him. I said sure. A couple months later he strolls in again with a pack of pillowcases that he bought at Ross ("dress for less", people) for a couple of dollars.

I didn't think a handpainted pillowcase would be very inviting in the way of cuddling and sleeping due to the thickness of the paint, so I went the route of screenprinting. I used five different screens and four colors of ink (red, blue, brown, and black) and decided on a "hers and his" motif making the main character a girl on one case and a guy on the other.
